Food Fun

Here's Mati happily shopping along. She's pushing her cart and carrying every kind of bag or purse she can find. She comes to the grocery store with me a lot so I think its cool she's copying and role-playing. What is she shopping for? What could she have put in her cart? It must be any of the several boxes and cans of toy food we have right? ....

Nope, its a half-eaten hamburger from dinner. And she proceeded to eat the rest of the burger as she tooled around the living room shopping.


Later this same day, she was having popcorn as a snack while watching Dora. How was she eating the popcorn? By scooping it with her wooden pizza cutter from her play-food set.

Then moments later placing it inside her precious blankie and eating off that. Weird or creatively brilliant? I'll choose the latter!
